Kredit Koperasi Primer Scheme (KKPA Scheme)
KLK has been partnering with co-operatives made up of selected communities in the vicinity of its management units to assist in the development of oil palm plantations. KLK funds the initial financing of the scheme and manages the KKPA Scheme until the borrowings are repaid. In developing and maintaining the KKPA Scheme, KLK will share with the participants the same high standards as practiced in all KLK estates.

Smallholders Project in Sabah
Inclusion of smallholders, which produce 40% of world’s palm oil, into our supply chain is a facet of KLK’s Sustainability Policy. Helping them to improve productivity and yield by way of best practices that will contribute to positive impact on Land Use Change. KLK is collaborating with Wild Asia and Fuji Oil Holdings Inc in a project at our Bornion POM; assisting the smallholders to achieve RSPO Certification.

Smallholder Tree Crops Revitalisation Support Project (STCRSP)
Equatorial Palm Oil (EPO) and the Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Agriculture are collaborating to rehabilitate smallholder oil palm farms in District #4, Grand Bassa County and provide necessary information required for the future replanting of these identified farms to promote an Out-Growers Program. The program is being funded by the World Bank.
