A few words about us
Plantation (oil palm and rubber development) is the core business activity of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (“KLK”). As one of the biggest players in the industry, KLK strives to continue to drive productivity and efficiency improvement in the field of oil palm plantations. Other key focus of KLK would be investment on Research and Development and supporting the innovation of planting operation materials.
KLK is committed to further enhance and build a sustainability future to ensure the well-being of present and future generations. The Group integrates the principles, value and practice of sustainable development in its employees, supply chain and communities in surrounding operations.
KLK diversified into resource-based manufacturing and vertically integrated its upstream and downstream businesses. This integrated business value chain enables KLK to enter different market segments and mitigate the risk of volatilities of the segments.
KLK’s principal divisions also include property development. The Group is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with a market capitalisation of approximately RM24.931 billion at the end of September 2019.
