• - Ensure all OSH-related matters, including personal competencies, documentation, and equipment, comply with OSHA A1648 regulations, act, and our company standard.

Meetings and Coordination:

• - Arrange and coordinate safety community steering meetings quarterly for the Sabah region.
• - Liaise with government officials during audits, inspection, and site visits, particularly for LTI incidents.

Protecting Company Interests:

• - Safeguard company interests concerning OSH matters.

Additional Responsibilities:

• - Perform any other safety and health-related tasks assigned by superiors.

Covered Operating Centres:

• - Tawau Regional Office – all estates in Tawau, Lahad Datu & Kinabatangan areas.
• - Wisma KLK, Sandakan – all estates in Sugut, Sandakan & Kinabatangan areas.

• - Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in OSH or related discipline from a recognised university with minimum CGPA 3.0.

• - Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, cashflow forecasts and annual budgets.
• - Statutory & External Reporting: Manage the submission of mandatory financial and asset-related data to regulatory portals and external authorities.
• - Operational & Cost Analytics: Conduct regular variance analysis across different operating units and generating exception reports e.g. cost fluctuations, purchase trends etc.
• - Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Act as the primary focal point for indirect tax matters (e.g. SST/Stamp Duty) and e-Invoicing initiatives, ensuring all related reporting and documentation are up to date.
• - Compliance Coordination: Monitor and coordinate the end-to-end process for tax filings, transfer pricing documentation and the finalization of statutory audits.
• - Administrative Oversight: Provide administrative support to ensure the timely completion of all cyclical compliance tasks and ad-hoc works.

• - Degree in Accounting or equivalent discipline with minimum CGPA 3.0/ professional accounting qualification from recognized universities.
• - Preferably 2-3 years post-qualifying experience with a professional accounting firm.
